Hey, They Don't Look Like Rylee!

As part of River Town Days they have a little petting zoo, so when Grandma and Grandpa said they were taking Reese there, Patrick and I jumped in the car to go meet them.  Patrick hasn't seen too many animals outside of dogs, and turns out, dogs are his favorite!  He wasn't quite sure what to make of the strange sounds coming from the calf and the sheep! 

Then we took a little time out for a little lunch!  How's that giant hot dog, Reese? 

Delicious!! 

Patrick just got to crunch up all of the chips!

Happy Fourth of July!

The last ten years, for the Fourth of July we have been invited to the Mayhew family cabin.  Well, this year was a little different, sadly, after the Friday night storms that rolled through Wisconsin left their cabin without electricity, and 13 tall pine trees down in their yard, and on top of their garage and cabin.  Luckily everyone was safe and sound, just a ton of clean up to do. :( 

But, since we couldn't make it there this year, we busted out a camp chair and brought a piece of the cabin experience to Patrick at home.

He didn't know what he was missing out on, so it worked out okay :)

Reese is Turning Two!

Happy, Happy Birthday to my adorable niece!  She is in LOVE with Elmo, and he was the main guest at her party!  Her mommy also made her a cupcake/cake, that I honestly thought was bought at a store.  It was so adorable!  Nice work, Steph!  Hope you had a wonderful birthday!  Love you!

Cheeseballs

Grandpa Brad came over for a visit the other day, and decided that Rylee needed to have some cheeseballs for a snack, and it became Patrick's new favorite entertainment.  Everytime Patrick laughs, Rylee is getting another cheeseball...win win for both of them!    

Oh and FYI, Patrick actually does have lots of pajamas, I just seem to take pictures of him everytime he is wearing his dinosaur pajamas!  They are my favorite lately!

Big Boy Clothes, Swings, and Snuggles Oh My!

This week has been so hot, and we have been hibernating inside nonstop.  However, last weekend, was a blast, and I must say a huge congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Jordan!  The weekend started off with a bang with my cousin David and his beautiful bride, Erin's, wedding!  It was a gorgeous wedding with their reception at the Minneapolis Depot.  Patrick refused to nap all day, and was completely exhausted by the end of the night. He finally crashed just as the loud dance music started.  At that point he could sleep through anything!

Over the next couple days, there were VERY short time periods that it wasn't completely scorching out, so we all got out of the house a little bit and took Patrick to the park.  He loves the swing!  All the fresh air usually tuckers him out a bit, though!

I've also determined that in my life there is absolutely nothing better than getting snuggled up to by my little man.  There is no better feeling!  I cannot stand how fast Patrick is growing.  I wish he could be this little forever!
