I AM ONE!

Our little guy turned ONE!  I cannot believe it!  Tear........

To celebrate he got to have two birthday parties!  On his actual birthday, November 27th, I invited the immediate family over to our house for some delicious chicken penne pasta and cupcakes!  Patrick was happy to see all the people he loves, and celebrate with them on his big day!

Grandma Perrault had to come over early to see him, because she had to work that night, and she brought him this awesome cozy coupe!

Bapa made him this adorable teddy bear!

Then, on Saturday, December 3rd, we held a birthday party for more friends and family at Brad and Lynette's house.  This little tyke had so much fun playing with all of his cousins and friends, and were so happy that everyone could come to celebrate with us.  There was a never ending taco bar (and scotch bar for those who participated), delicious cake, more presents than Patrick, and mom for that matter, could keep up with, and plenty of fun and laughter!

Thank you so much to everyone that could come and make Patrick's day so special!  We love you all!

My First Halloween

Halloween this year was so much fun, because we got to dress Patrick up for his first time!  Although he was never too happy about getting into his costumes (yes, that is plural, because he had two of them) once he got in them he remained quite content!  We started off the weekend doing a little pumpkin carving on Saturday night!

On Sunday night, we got to go to Grandma and Grandpa Perrault's to spend time with the whole family.  Our little turkey lurkey and Elmo had so much fun playing together and getting lots presents and snacks!  These silly kids also gave us a lot to laugh about.

Thank you Grandma and Bapa!

There was even a dance party!

Then on Halloween Day, we got dressed one more time to get ready and go visit Grandma and Grandpa Wayne.  This time Patrick was a wild little giraffe!

We visited Great Grandma Jordan in my costume, too!

The Last Couple Months...In a Nutshell

Patrick went to his first outdoor music festival to watch Grandpa play in his band. It was a great time, and we got to enjoy the nice weather!

Taking a break for some snacks!

Hanging out with Jessi and Auntie Em.
We went to visit the other adorable addition to the Wayne family!  Congrats to Kelsey and Matt on thier little bundle of JOY, Bergan Mattew.

Auntie Emily and Uncle Brent invited us up to barbeque for Emily's birthday!  Matt had to work, but Patrick and I headed up to Lindstrom for some delicious food and fun!

We took Patrick to the Como Zoo for his first time.  His favorite animal (we are 98% sure) was the giraffe.

Steph, Elliott and Reese invited the whole Perrault family over for a Labor Day barbeque, and we got to get a group shot of all of the boys together!  So cute!  Love these guys so much!

Reading books!
I had a little nine months old photo shoot of my own!   He is getting so big, so fast!  I cannot believe he is already almost one!

Love this little track suit!
Elliott was nice enough to come and do some electrical work in our house for us, so it was a good opportunity for the kids to get together to play.  Everything went great until a mysterious black eye appeared.  No one knows the truth except Reese, and I don't think she will be sharing any time soon!

Tough little guy...guess I could've wiped his mouth first...!  Whoops.
This was the first year, I ran in the Twin Cities 10 Mile from the Metrodome to the State Capital!  It was such a nice race.  I could have used a couple more weeks (months) of training, but it was absolutely beautiful.  Matt brought Patrick up to watch mommy cross the finish line....only they missed me! :(  It's ok, there's always next year, right!?

Jessi and I at the finish!
I just love this picture, because he can't resist putting this bowl on his head!

Quick visit to the Apple Orchard.  Daddy got called out to go diving, so we got some apples and a pretty little pumpkin!

One pumpkin wasn't enough, we decided we needed more.

Anyway, that's all for now.  The months have flown by, but we have enjoyed every single second!
