Easter Bunny!

It's Patrick's first year of everything, and I love holidays, so we had to celebrate this one by going to visit the Easter Bunny!  Patrick loved the bunny, of course, but he was just too serious about it to show off a bright smile.  Oh well!  We wish everyone a Happy Easter Sunday!  We look forward to spending it with family!

Happy 1st Birthday, Marshall!!

On April 9th, Patrick got to go to his cousin Marshall's 1st birthday party, and boy, did he score big!  Patrick was spoiled with his own adorable T-shirt made just for him with his name on it, and the cutest farmer hanker chief!  He also got a fun milk pail full of goodies, including a cow print balloon, giant sucker, a coloring book, crayons, four toy trucks and cars, and a chocolate covered pretzel (which Patrick politely shared with his mama).  You would've thought it was Patrick's birthday!  Although the birthday boy was a little under the weather and teething, he still seemed to have a lot of fun surrounded by his family and friends!  The best part was trying to get all the kiddos together for a group pic!  So funny!

That boy did such a great job holding Patrick...and I still don't know who he was!

Happy Birthday, Marshall!!  So glad we could make it down to celebrate with you!

It's Twins Season

I hate to really even write about it because of the sad display that we have seen so far this year by the Twin's, but it was a good reason to get together on Friday with Chris and Christy and Brad and ring in the Twin's season.  Chris and Christy thought they'd do it right, by making ball park hot dogs, brats, and homemade pretzels and cheese!  The food and beer were good, but the game was not.  Matt decided that he would play games on Brad's cell phone, instead of watching the game, and Chris started channel surfing after about two innings, while Christy and I just played with Patrick and the dogs.

Pathetic!

Raymond F. Perrault

This was a sad week for the Perrault family.  We gathered together this weekend to say goodbye to and celebrate the life of my Grandfather, Ray.  To me, he was Bapa.  Bapa always had a way of making anyone laugh and smile.  You always braced yourself when you walked by or sat next to him, because you knew you were going to get your knee grabbed, tickled, your ponytail tugged on, your head pat, or spooked by what I can only describe as his Daffy Duck voice.  He taught me how to play cribbage, but for some reason I could never beat him, so I think he left out the "How to win" part on purpose.  I cherish the memories that I have camping, fishing, swimming at the lake, and losing at cribbage.

Bapa, you will be dearly missed, and I am going to miss hearing you say, "My pretty, pretty girl".  I am fortunate that Patrick had the opportunity to meet you!  I love you very much!
